Do rebates apply to air conditioning?
They do, because what we install is a heat pump. We help you apply for CleanBC and BC Hydro rebates worth up to $13,000 on a heat pump installation, and what you get depends on your household income and the fuel you're replacing. The CleanBC Energy Savings Program is income-qualified and covers switching from gas, propane or oil. The BC Better Homes Renovation Rebate has no income test at all, but only covers switching from electric baseboards — it's co-delivered by BC Hydro and FortisBC.
